All, I am the ride leader for tomorrow morning’s Happy Valley ride. A week ago the forecast looked reasonable for mid-April but it seems each day the forecast has gotten worse. I checked this morning and it called for 95% chance of rain, winds and mid-40s. If you have never ridden a brevet, they are rides where you follow a route of a designated distance,  get a brevet card signed or a store receipt, or answer a question at controles/checkpoints on the course. Hi Peter, and all, This is a good point. During last Saturday’s ride, we passed Plank Road Park on Mud Mill and it looks to be under construction. One full parking area is completely blocked off and the status of the other is questionable. It looks to have been scraped clean with big piles of dirt in the parking area.
