Hi everyone, I’ve been watching the radar images to check on the weather tonight. To the west of us it looks fine. There are some scattered rain cells south of us and they are moving in a north-easterly direction out of the area. Looks like it should be good to ride. If we should get a shower, the cells all look pretty small and it should not last long. See you all tonight. Ciao, Tony Virus-free. www.avast.com ...Continue Reading

As I mentioned in my last write up, the venue for the Time Trial this week will be on the Lafayette Time Trial course that is used for the Syracuse Race weekend. The layout of the course is simple.... starting from Rowland Rd. - ride up 11A for 5.1 miles, make a right on to Solvay Rd, half mile later, make a right on to Tully Farms road and fly the remaining 5 miles downhill!!! The course has a net altitude loss of 100 ft. The weather is supposed to be cloudy, 74 degrees, 50% humidity, 10 mph NW win ...Continue Reading

Well, it was hot and hilly ride on Sunday, which is maybe why only 6 riders showed up. 2 did 40 miles, 3 did 66 miles, and 1 rider tackled the full 90. Parts of the ride had spectacular views. Sorry no pics, I'm not coordinated enough to use my camera while riding and didn't want to stop.On another note, a big thank you to our web management team, especially Doug Bray, Brian Goetke and Todd Relyea for spending many hours working with our hosting provider to fix all the issues with our web site.&nb ...Continue Reading

23 cyclists showed up on Saturday morning for the Van Buren - Cross Lake ride, despite the confusion of the website and list serve being down. It turned out to be a beautiful day, temps in the high 70's and no wind. 18 riders chose the 50 mile route, while 2 riders went 38 and 3 riders went 27 miles. Total mileage was 1057, one flat reported. Thanks to Doug Bray for emailing me maps and cue sheets while the website was down.
