Hi Everyone, It wasn’t the most pleasant of Tuesday night rides last night. With cool temperatures, gusty wind and the threat of rain it was a little dicey. We had 13 riders come out and brave the weather…and use their winter riding gear. We had Tom Hotaling lead a small group of riders on a 23 mile challenge while Mike Lyon did a 15 mile intermediate route. Mark Perrin, Dean Connery, Alan Storrings and Roland Pearson led the 10 mile easy road ride. The were no guests and no interest in ...Continue Reading

Hi there all you SnEers: Well, it’s Tuesday again so there must be some rain in the area! I was looking at the AccuWeather radar a few minutes ago and it showed a fairly large rain front moving towards us from the west. By the track of the movement, we may see some rain this afternoon some time but it may be to the north and east of us by the time we start our rides. We won’t cancel the ride unless it is pouring at 6:00 PM. See you there. *Where:* Reed Webster Park, Camillus, NY ...Continue Reading

Hi Everyone, The second week of our season is here with us once more. I can’t predict for certain what the weather will be this Tuesday evening, but we’ll just have to see what Tuesday brings our way. Last week looked like we would get wet for the ride but the rain never came our way and we stayed dry. It was a little cooler than I like it but at least it was dry. This week’s ride will start from the same location, Reed Webster Park in Camillus located on Rt 173 (Warners Road). We leav ...Continue Reading

And guess what?! I was not one of those riders for a change! Instead I had no rain and did lawn and garden work...about 5 hrs worth thinking how I could have ridden instead! Glad to see everyone who ventured out was safe and hope things dry out for the next ride! Please send Dave my regards!
