Last night was perfect combination of fantastic conditions and end of summer conditioning.....   the result???   a ton of PRs!!As we gathered at the start at 6:00pm, the winds died down to complete calm.  Perrrfect!Nine rolled to the line with one new TTer -  Welcome Steve!The fastest time was rode by Alex Johnson.  Alex lay waste to the course, leaving a wake of devastation as he clocked another PR and lowered his 2016 course record by 36 seconds! It was the last night of Mtn. biking at the Bear and we had a record crowd of 15 members and 2 guest on a pleasant evening for riding. We covered about 9 miles with lots of ups and downs with a few logs to go over. WE split up into two groups with Bob leading the first group of more experienced riders who want to ride faster. I took the next group of 8 riders at an easier pace. Everyone had a good time and all thanked me for starting the Mtn. Biking rides and hope we will keep it going next year.
