I prefer older bikes as they’re WAY less expensive and fun to work on myself (and unless I lose about 50 lbs, the bike isn’t going to be the deciding factor on my performance).There are plenty of charity rides around CNY, and OCC usually has a team to ride with. Hey all,   I registered for the club this week as I just started riding a few weeks ago (as a cross training option for running – and I found I like riding better J ). I am shopping for a road bike now – I really liked the Specialized Diverge I rode yesterday (not a true road bike but close) and will go out to B’ville today to ride a Cannondale (CAAD8 or Syanpse).
