Hi everyone, Last evening’s SnE west ride brought out a larger number of riders than I would have anticipated based on the weather conditions.  I was rather disappointed to have slipped back into this cool weather once again.  The coolness seems to be driven by some circulating Canadian cold fronts that are mixing with the warmer southern US fronts and leaving us with cooler weather.  Hopefully this will get by us soon.  At least we are not dealing with flooding as some other areas are. We ...Continue Reading

Hi,I was looking over the weather radar and there are a number of scattered rain pockets that seem to be moving through the Syracuse area at the moment…depending on where you are located.  To the west of these there does not seem to be a lot of rain pockets following…it looks clear back to Iowa.  Considering the speed at which they are moving and the fact that it appears to be clear to the west, I plan to be at the park per normal.  If it should rain at all, I would bet it will pass quickly.  See yo ...Continue Reading

I am looking for suggestions for a decent bike rack for the back of my Mazda that will be durable but also limit the amount of damage done to my car (worried about scratches and marks on my car where the hooks go on/around the trunk). I don’t have a trailer hitch currently on either of my cars.
