Hey everyone, the leaves are falling, and you know what that means it's *_Cyclocross_* season. The annual race is being held this weekend at Long Branch park. We need some help _Friday for setup_. So, if you can come on by the park around 1:00. We will also need help both days for minor course repair but especially with _breakdown on Sunday_. From: mailto:  A couple of our long-term members informed me that this Rolling Saturday ride used to be part of the club’s 3-day Labor Day weekend rides of about 60 miles each day, all starting from the same location. There was “Rolling Saturday”, “Hilly Sunday”, and then a flat ride on Monday (probably the Chittenago-Oneida route). I wouldn’t consider today’s ride “rolling”. There were some steep climbs. Tuesday evening was rather nice for what may be the last TT of the season.  Temperature was around 68 degrees with about a 5mph S-SE breeze.  Only two TTers ventured out to challenge themselves on the TT course.  Rich having not ridden for several weeks decided to ride it as a warm-up for his brick run and not get an official time.   Ken hit it hard but suffered from fatigue from his challenging weekend rides.  He did take the FMT  with a time of 27:28 (21.85mph).    ...Continue Reading
