A total of 16 riders headed out on the Lake Neatahwana rides on Labor Day. It was a more popular ride than I anticipated. I received many compliments on the course. While it was a bit warm last night, only 85 degrees, 17 riders showed up to ride 310 miles.  As usual, myself and one other were the last back to the park.  I was surprised to see only one rider leaving and one still in the parking lot.  It appears that all of the others decided to quickly get back into their airconditioned cars, foregoing any social time. The temperature actually cooled off more than predicted - hovering around 80 degrees at start time.  I'm guessing the breeze was a gentle 5mph out of the NW.  The only downside was the 30" cut in the road filled with gravel just before Blackcreek Rd.
