It was quite a night.  Ten riders showed up by car.  The skies opened up at about 5:45. I had opted to postpone starting up the Time Trials due to the stoning of Black Creek road.  While the Madison County highway department has made a mess of the north end of Black Creek road by dumping enough stone to fill Letchworth State Park,  I was able to clear a relatively clean path for our TTers.   The stone is now packed down with the exception of about 18" on the side of the road.    The good news is that the first 3 miles on Chestnut Ridge now on new SMOOTH pavement !!&n ...Continue Reading

It was a great day for a ride. Nineteen others agreed and came out to ride around Oswego County. There were a variety of ride options and it seemed like the split of who rode what mileage was pretty even. The Friday ride out of Great Northern Mall had 19 participantsthere was also a segment from Karen K11 did 41-445 did around 352 for 291 for 22It was a great day for riding and being Friday sociable day groups mostly stayed together.There were Oatmeal Raisin cookies of which 8 remained and used on the next days ride.Then there were 3 cookies left.  But Sundays ride had too many riders for 3 cookies so I will hang on to those.See you next rideEd  ...Continue Reading
