From: mailto: Was a bit warm last night but 23 hearty riders showed up. They rode 10-23 miles for a total of 468 miles. Fortunately the dry ice fairy surprised me and we were able to have popsicles. [occ2] OCC Tuesday Night Time Trial cancelled 7/9 and 7/16

[occ2] Sunday's Marble Farms Metric Century

All, I’m the ride leader for Sunday’s ride. There are 30, 51 and 63 mile routes that start from Western Lights Plaza at 9:00 AM. Note that we will meet in the SW corner of the parking lot behind McDonalds (but not in their lot). As of now the weather looks dry and around 80 degrees. [occ2] OCC july 4th 50/100 report

17 members participated in the traditional July 4th  50/100It was a fast start with 5 century riders going out ahead of the rest of the groupThe rest of the group was doing 18-19 mph  Lots of speed to start.  Then the group split at Rt 31 with 3 century riders going the other way.There was one rider with a flat and couldn't break the bead so concluded the ride at 43.  Don't know how the return was acutated.The other flat occurred at Sylvan beach (a small glass sliver) after the circle K gas station.O ...Continue Reading
