All, Before I selected this route I did check the Jamesville School District website which indicated classes ended today. To be sure I did call the elementary school today and they said they are having a fourth grade graduation Friday and expect the parking lot to be full. I do admit it was warm last night.  But like I told everyone it only feels hot when you stop riding.  So, let’s ride!!  There were 17 riders doing 371 miles.  Many popsicles were consumed after the ride.  Only incident was a lost phone.  But that had a happy ending.  When called, someone answered.  Hooray !!!!  Shortly after the owner was reunited with their phone.  Catastrophe averted by a good Samaritan. I will not be there next week.  Paul Voglewede has volu ...Continue Reading

Due to the heat index I’m taking a pass on riding tonight. If anyone does want to do a slow and easy ride I’d recommend they do a route they’re familiar with and definitely go slow and easy. Next week I’m hoping to do a slow and easy summer solstice ride of 18 - 20 miles. We’ll have the daylight to take several breaks to cover the distance.
