Five riders completed 139 miles today. I rode through one area with wet pavement indicating there had been rain, but it didn’t get my riding partner and me. [occ2] Ride Report Fayetteville - Happy Valley Tour

The air cleared up, the rain held off, the sun was mostly out and 18 riders showed for this ride in Saturday 7/1 to start the second half of 2023. 7 riders did 35-38 miles5 riders did 49-50 miles6 riders did 63-64 miles Total miles ridden was 880. One rider (that I’m aware of) had a flat. I’ve just signed up to be the ride leader for Sunday July 2. The link to the ride is below. There are two options: 19 and 30 miles. I am aiming to ride the 30 miler, so that will be a no drop for sure, if anyone wants to no drop the 19, that would be great. We ride out at 9 a.m., so please be there in time to get geared up and pump up your tires before then. Below is the breakdown of the of 22 and 33 mile routes. Some added miles to the route, but unfortunately will only be credited with the actual course mileage. The issue becomes where to draw the line. In the case of air quality alerts, are rides canceled when the air quality reaches “Unhealthy for sensitive groups”? “Unhealthy” (with the recommendation that outdoor activity be limited, perhaps this means reducing the length of your ride?), “Very Unhealthy”? Keep in mind that if conditions are not favorable for you, you can opt not to ride.
