2019 58cm Trek Checkpoint I bought this new and have ridden it as primarily an early season/fall/indoor road bike. The bike came with Shimano mechanical components and I upgraded it to Sram Force 1 x 12 speed XPLR last year. It has had a couple of road rides on it since upgrading with some cosmetic issues but never crashed.I’ve upgraded the handlebars and stem also to Bontrager carbon fiber handlebar and stem. Twelve members and one guest enjoyed ideal weather Thurday evening. Three did a true slow-n-easy and rode a 9-mile loop at an average of 13.5 mph. Nine riders rode 19 miles averaging around 16-17 mph. One did 29 miles, but I couldn't catch up to him to get a pace. Enjoyed by all, no incidents.There will continue to be a slow-paced option.
