Mother Nature can be quite capricious.  The forecast trended worse until about 3pm and then it slowly improved.  As I drove through Fayetteville I was greeted with a steady rain.  Four miles later the roads were almost bone dry.   The roads on the TT course were approx 85% dry.    The TTers did have to face a light rain the last few miles.  And then it was done.  The temperature was 71 degrees with a slight SW breeze and obviously very humid.  Decent conditions.Two ...Continue Reading

Mother Nature is being rather unpredictable.   While the chance of rain remains rather high, the projected radar imagery only shows showers/light rain from now until 8pm.   Currently, the wet roads have dried in Manlius.  If the showers/light rain doesn't actually happen over the next 3-4 hours, then we will be good to go.  I'll head up to the start regardless just in case the showers/light rain stays away.I'll certainly understand if no one shows up given the uncertainty. BrianT ...Continue Reading
