Ten participants rode 425 miles in today’s DM’s Delight ride. In an unusual twist, most of the riders opted for the shorter route. They missed Edwin Chin’s lovely and leisurely tour of Sylvan Beach, Verona Beach Lighthouse, and Verona Beach State Park. Our no-drop ride even no-dropped the two individuals who rode 49 miles! What a beautiful day for a ride. I hope we get some more weekends like this.-- Karen Kelly ...Continue Reading

The weather simply will not be conducive to Time Trialing tomorrow. We'll see what next week brings!CORRECTION: In last week's summary I incorrectly mis-identified Rich O'Neil's rig. He is riding a 2012 Trek Concept One. I described it as a 2016 Trek Speed Concept. He has maintained his rig so well that I thought it was a more recent model BrianTT Directeur315-727-1458 ...Continue Reading

Hi,I’m ride “leader” for this Saturday’s DM’s Delight ride (see link below). There are three ride options: 35, 41, and 48 miles. I plan to ride the 41 mile route and will do it as a slow and easy (about 12 - 13 mph) no drop ride. It’s longish, so may sound like an oxymoron for easy, but we all have our bike legs under us and this is a very flat course. I did a lot of training for my century ride out in these parts three years ago. My motto is “if I can do it, you can do it!”There will be a restroom/refueling break ...Continue Reading

The conditions Tuesday night turned out to be pretty good. The breeze faded from the predicted 9mph to something less than 5mph by my estimate. The roads had almost completely dried out from the rain earlier in the day. There was still a smidge of dampness under the tree branches on Marsh Mill and Black Creek. The temperature was around 65 degrees. Comfortable. We almost had the same TTers show up from the previous TT, but, unfortunately Ken couldn't quite make the earlier 5:30pm start.  ...Continue Reading
