Well hot hot hot was the phrase being used by most of the 40 or so riders.  Some riders opted to do a shorter ride.  But judging from the bill, many of those doing the long ride paid a welcome stop at the DeRuyter General Store for refreshment.  We had several guests that came just to say hi and enjoy the food.  Wanted to thank the local bike shops for their raffle prize donations.  There were a number of must have prizes.  Also a thanks to Roland for a great feed and to all those that help ...Continue Reading

7 riders all but 1 doing 47 miles (E.L. did an extension for 56 miles). It would have been closer to the 43 option but, in attempt to avoid riding through Cortland, we chose a slightly divergent route which brought us to a bridge closed by construction and required backtracking. The weather was great except got some cloud spitting between miles 27-30 and again after we reached the parking lot. This Saturday is the Spring Fling - a club picnic, ride, and annual general meeting. Enjoy a day of cycling fun, friends, and food.
