Hi, Paul V is the official ride leader for Saturday morning’s ride, but I’m going to lead a slow and easy no-drop 22 mile version that’s not listed as an option on the website. A photo of the route is listed below. It’s similar to rides the slow and easy no drop route has done on Tuesday nights - just a little longer since we have more time. It’s a fun ride - I’ve done it many times, so I hope to see you there. Link to the ride page for starting location and other miscellaneous info here: https: ...Continue Reading

Steady rain has just left the TT course. The forecast calls for significant rain around 6pm. This forecast combined with the unlikelihood of the roads drying out well by 5:00pm has led me to cancel today's Time Trial.Next week is supposed to be warmer. If the weather is acceptable, I'll run the TT with a start time of 5:30pm.BrianTT Directeur315-727-1458 On Monday, September 12, 2022 at 09:47:55 PM CDT, Brian Goetke <goetke1@PROTECTED> wrote: Not looking good for tomorrow. &nbs ...Continue Reading

What great weather for a ride!! While ridership was down, only 43 rode, everyone enjoyed their ride and there were no issues. This was in spite of 2 detours on the way to Rudy’s, which added some miles. With the exception of the 100 mile riders, many opted to start when they wanted. While this is OK, some missed an announcement of a gravel issue on one of the routes, which worried me. Once again Roland outdid himself preparing a delicious post ride meal consisting of sliced pork, baked beans, col ...Continue Reading

The roads dried out completely and the breeze was from the East as predicted. It isn't often that we get a due East breeze. Everyone experienced a nice tailwind for the first three miles - most likely some PRs were set on Chestnut Ridge.Three TTers showed up to squeeze in another hard effort before the TT season winds down. Ken Toscano took the FMT with a blistering time of 26:33 (22.60mph). Our chopper over the course had him almost averaging 25mph for the first 3 miles. Unfortunately, the ...Continue Reading
