From: mailto: It was a hot and humid day. That’s for sure 23 riders showed up and enjoyed the heat the pool and some really good food. They rode between 13 and 54 miles. There was one mishap a broken rear derailer cable at about 7 miles out. Glad it happened then so the ride back was short. No other mishaps were reported. Chestnut Ridge is lined, and seems there’s less room for cyclists. The photos show an area with an exceptionally narrow shoulder, but most is not a foot wide or less.
