We had a pleasant evening for the Tuesday Time Trial.  The temperature was a refreshing 73 degrees.  The only downside was that persistent NW breeze that provided a bit of resistance over the first 6 miles of the course.   Never the less, everyone put forth amazing efforts to be within shouting distance of their PRs.  Ten intrepid souls rolled to the start line Tuesday night.  One was a guest from the Hamilton area. What a great night for a ride.  I thought the weather would have brought out a few more riders.  We had 31 members ride 672 miles.  Thanks to Mark Wheeler and Karen Kelly for leading groups.  I had a great ride along the canal with Ed Chin where we did 17 miles and an impressive 9 feet of climbing.  We were rocking to golden oldies from Ed’s boom box and I do mean oldies Ventures Wipeout etc.  It actually was a great aid for others to know we were coming.  Thanks Ed. See you next ...Continue Reading

Well it’s a go. We will be holding our fall century/charity ride September 19 starting at Carpenter’s Brook.  We only got clarification from the park a couple of day’s ago as well some of the other logistical aspects.  One thing that wont happen is the fantastic BBQ that Roland Pearson provided since buffet serving is a no no.  Not to worry there will be food at the end.  Remember we still need to do the mask and social distancing stuff.  So please don’t make me have to police these issues.  ...Continue Reading
