The forecast was right on.....   a beautiful evening for the Race of Truth!   The temperature hovered around 80 degrees with a fading 8 mph WSW breeze.Two TTers rolled to the start line Tuesday evening.  Fastest Man Time (FMT) honors go to Mike Hopper.  He blistered the course in a time of 24:51 (24.14mph). Memorial day was the Happy Valley-McConnellsville ride   3 riders came on a cool day conducive to a long ride   2 did 102,  2880 ft climbing 1 did 50    missed out on the climbs on Hillsboro Rd   Didn't get enough precipitation to wet your lenses till 20 miles and ended 2 miles later.  Slight mist in places and ended about 11:30.  Blue sky towards end of ride.   Lots of cemeteries along the ride fitting for the day.   Only six hills according to my Garmin 540.   Loo ...Continue Reading
