Hi everyone,Accuweather is not forecasting rain during the ride tonight…humid yes…rain no. Looks like rain tomorrow. There is a large rain cell to the west of us but it looks like it will track north of us. So, get your stuff together and come out to the park and ride. It will likely be cloudy for the ride… but humid. Bring your hydrationJ. See you at the park. Tony Virus-free. www.avast.com ...Continue Reading

The winds will be light and the temps should be in the mid to high 70s. It is probable that we will be able to hold the time trial.Lets see how things unfold.Doctors cite many scientific studies that have determined the best way to combat TDF withdrawal syndrome is go out and actually ride your bike.... Time Trials seem to be especially effective in ac ...Continue Reading

I am the ride leader for Wednesday night's ride from the Camillus airport. The printed map shows 28 and 50-mile options. I am taking the 50-mile option off the table for obvious reasons. Fast riders, however, can do a 39-mile option by turning left instead of right on Route 34 at mile 19, then picking up the cue sheet again to turn left onto Bike route 5/North Street/31EWho knows what the weather will be, but I will be there regardless. I'll have maps with me showing both the 28 & 39-mile opt ...Continue Reading

Hi - I don't recall hearing about this app through the club, so I thought I would bring it to your attention. The 529 Garage app lets you store photos and info for your bikes that can then be used to alert other users and the police to be on the lookout when one is stolen. Currently, there are no nodes of users in New York State, but your participation could build it here. And, obviously, if you travel where there are a lot of users, your chances of finding your bike increase. The service is free, but they als ...Continue Reading
