Wow, what a beautiful day for a ride.  16 riders rode distances between 24 and 46 miles for a total of 686 miles.  Most of us modified the ride to go south on Gully Road to New Seneca Turnpike.  A serene interlude before plunging down to eat apple stix in Skaneateles.We were not without incidents.  There was an entertaining domino fall involving several riders waiting for the light to change at John Glenn Blvd.  One rider reported a flat and abandonment by his fellows. It was predicted to be a wet and windy evening last night. Ten riders showed up and nine decided to risk it. Five of us rode the shorter loop, to avoid possible rain, and four others chose various longer rides. We departed under threatening clouds and while it became quite windy for those rode the longer route, we were all rewarded with a dry ride and a rainbow at the very end.
