ye of little faith ! The OCC deflector shield repelled the rain as it moved in from the south. The roads were bone dry on the TT course last night.Unfortunately, no one came out to ride the TT course. Next week the temperatures are supposed to be in the 80s with some chance of T-storms. The probability for showers has dropped substantially and those that will appear in the area should stay south of the TT course. I'll head up the course to check the roads for debris, etc. I'm anticipating that the roads will dry out somewhat, but that some small puddles may remain. Hope you all had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. The weather is going to be a bit unpredictable today. Light rain just came through the TT course and soaked the roads. There should be a lull in the precipitation until about 2pm. I'd expect the strong breeze to dry out the roads. But, we have about a 50% chance of showers 5-6pm. All, Large turn out for a beautiful day. At the start it was in the 60’s and peaked out in the low 80’s. Very light wind, hardly noticeable, but the big story this spring was clear blue sky and no rain. The only incident involved a banana but no injury occurred nor the need for a repair. You just had to be there to appreciate that anecdote.
