15 OCC members and 2 guests participated in the inaugural OCC friday night ride from Mello Velo. With one 19-mile option, 17 rides logged 323 miles without incident. The finish at the Mello Velo cafe was clearly the highlight of the evening. Steve and Sarah have done a fantastic job of turning an old warehouse into a go-to place for all things cycling including (and especially) after-cycling. Hi All, We made it through last evening and no one got wet. The clouds even broke up and let the sun shine through. It got a little cool as the evening progressed, but all in all it turned out better than I would have guessed. We had 39 members and one guest last night for a total of 40 riders. Mello Velo has re-opened its shop at 790 Canal Street in Syracuse. Steve, the owner, would like to host an OCC ride beginning and ending at the shop. The cafe would be available both before and after the ride. I will lead an inaugural ride this Friday, 5/18 at 6pm.
