Hi Everyone, Another great *SnEW* ride and turnout of riders. We had 57 members and one guest show up for the ride last night for a total of 58 riders. Tom Hotaling had an active group of riders that covered 20 miles, while Mike Lyon had a load of riders who rode on his 23 mile loop. Mark Perrin of The Bikery along with Roland Pearson and Al Storrings had an all highway group that covered an easy paced 10 mile course. Hi All… Sure does look like it will be a great night to ride. A lot less humidity and cooler temperatures make for great conditions. It should be in the low 70s when we go out. Hi to all our Riders! Do you think today’s heat and what they are forecasting for tomorrow is a little oppressive? If you do, try our ride(s) this Tuesday starting at 6:00 PM from Reed Webster Park on Warner’s Rd (Rt 173). Accuweather is forecasting that Tuesday’s weather will be “/Partly sunny; //cooler/” with a high of 76. Cooler is the operative word here. Quite a difference!...and nice for riding. Wow, what a beautiful day for a ride. 16 riders rode distances between 24 and 46 miles for a total of 686 miles. Most of us modified the ride to go south on Gully Road to New Seneca Turnpike. A serene interlude before plunging down to eat apple stix in Skaneateles.We were not without incidents. There was an entertaining domino fall involving several riders waiting for the light to change at John Glenn Blvd. One rider reported a flat and abandonment by his fellows.
