Last day of May and again the weather was less than optimal for a bike ride.  But five Friday faithful cyclists persevered to do the 40 mile ride from Carpenter Brook to Spook Woods.  We skipped the famous Bonta Bridge due to the sporadic drizzle (sometimes heavy), but managed to get in the same number of miles with our detour.  Attached is the obligatory picture at the Spook Woods road sign.   ...Continue Reading

This past Tuesday night was a clone of week 1 -   70 degrees with 4-5 mph NW breeze.   There may have been  a tiny headwind for the initial three miles on Chestnut Ridge. There were a bunch of OCC riders (28) and 1 guest( who will be joining soon) Most rode the longish 32/33 miles with some wind         And the normal bad crevices on RT 80. Hi Everyone, What a great night to ride last night!  Perfect weather conditions  and a great group of riders…what more could one ask for? We had 48 members and 2 guests come out for a total of 50 riders.  As I said before…what a difference the weather makes on attendance.
