Saturday's ride is out of Phoenix at 9am.Note there two 51 mile routes. I added the "alt" version to avoid most of Rt 264.From Clifford, the alt route turns right onto Red School House at mile 36.5 then turns left on Gilbert Mills at 41.5 the turns right onto 264 to rejoin the regular route.A cue sheet and a GPS route have been included for this route. A coolish but sunny evening brought 37 club members to ride around Van Buren. The 37 riders covered a total of 1117 miles. 7 rode the short route or less, 24 rode the mid length and 5 rode the long route. A couple problems. One chain issue cut ride short, one had 2 flats but only 1 tube and had to walk most of the rest of the route back (rescued by the ride leader for the last 2 miles after walking at least a mile before that).
