Hi Everyone, OCC’s next *Slow ‘n Easy West* ride is scheduled for this coming Tuesday August 15, 2017 and leaves from the west end parking lot of Reed Webster Park in Camillus, located on Warners Rd (Rt 173), promptly at 6:00 PM.   The forecast for Tuesday is /“…//periods of clouds and sun with a shower or thunderstorm in the area..”/;  The high temperature will be about 81 degrees. I can't believe I actually signed up to lead this brute of a ride today.  In fact, I'm sure I didn't.  Anyway 6 other riders showed up to do somewhere between 20 and 47 miles on this ridiculously hilly course. No surprise that Dale, Paul and Tim chose to do the entire 47 miles including Moon Hill.  Three others did 31 miles on a modified but still very hilly route.  A newbie rider, Dave, chose to make this his inaugural ride with the club.  Probably not the best choice but he ...Continue Reading

We had a very pleasant night - temperature 73-76 degrees, approx 5 mph breeze from the SW, humidity around 50%.   A solid rating of 8/10.    We had four people show up Tuesday night.  The low turnout is due partly to the fact that eight TT participants of 2017 competed in the West-Woodward Memorial time trial in Upper Jay (near Lake Placid) this past Sunday.  This race served as the NYS Time Trial Championships. Mariana Rinaldo     -  1st  place - Girls 13-14Ch ...Continue Reading
