Nine cyclists departed from Knapp Winery, Cayuga Lake today for our RAW (ride and wine after) ride and help Brenda celebrate her birthday! Turned out to be a great day, a bit overcast, but that didn't matter. The sun came out around 4 pm, as expected. Stopping at Wagner Winery for a break and proceeding on to the hills, we arrived back safely with no issues. It has be brought to my attention from member Dale who drove our route for tonight the following suggestion for the 29 mile route: Pleasant Valley has three patches (about 20 yards each) of ground up road. To avoid this turn on as instructed to Pleasant Valley and at the 8.5 mile mark turn onto Stevens Rd and then turn on to Gardner whish brings you then to Pleasant Valley past the three patches of bad road.
